In Loving Memory of Steven J. Sylva
July 25, 1949 - November 4,2015
Steven J. Sylva Sr. 66, a life-long Everett resident passed away at home
on November 4 surrounded by his loving family. Steven was born Everett
on July 25, 1949, one of five children of Margaret (Flynn) Sylva and the
late Gilbert. Steven grew up in Everett and attended the Everett Schools.
Steven proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during
Vietnam. He worked as a welder at the power plant station in Everett.
During his spare time, Steven love spending time in New Hampshire where
he loved ice fishing, boating and other recreational activities.
Steven was the loving husband of the late Arlene (Caddy) Sylva and the
cherished father of Steven J. Sylva Jr. and his wife Patricia of Everett.
He was the adored grandfather of Caden and Lindsey. He was the brother
of John of Mansfield, Peggy of Stoneham, Ann Doron of Everett and
Gilbert of Malden.
